Talk description: Ecuadorian Funga and Youth-Lead Conservation

Andy has developed a great passion for documenting biodiversity in his home country of Ecuador and in Colorado where he grew up. Over the years, Andy has studied insects, arachnids, aided in herpetofauna research, and contributed to Ecuador's national herbarium/fungarium with preserved fungal specimens. His recent work contributed to the protection of a 1,050 acre plot in the cloud NW cloud forest in Ecuador alongside fellow youth council members as part of Reserva: the Youth Land Trust.
